new year.

2013 was so good to me. Good friends, good family time, good health, good grades. I'm thankful for the many good things that came my way.

Looking ahead at 2014, I can't help but get excited. 2014 is the year I will be smack-dab in the middle of college. I have the rest of Sophomore year to go and the beginning of my Junior year to start. I feel like this is a very good place to be because I'm pretty used to this whole college thing. It's no longer this great, big, scary, and stressful concept to me anymore. At the same time, I haven't quite entered the stage where I should be stressing out about what's next and the "real world" and all that.

Needless to say, 2014 should be a good time.

I hope to:

  • Eat clean. I gave it a good shot in 2013, and I'm thankful for another chance to really give it my all. I actually just got off a juice cleanse with my dad, and it was the perfect thing to kick start healthy habits in 2014.
  • Make monthly goals. Keep up resolutions all year long.
  • Not care so much. Realize what matters and what doesn't and also that what doesn't matter really isn't worth all the stress and worry. This covers anything from stressing over a bad homework grade to wearing the clothes I want to wear with confidence.
