charleston. (part 4)

This is (finally) the last set of pictures from Charleston. (I tried to upload these last night but Blogger was just not having it. Thankfully I am off work today and had some free time!)
We walked along the new Cooper River Bridge at sunset before going out to celebrate my brother's birthday. I get very nervous when very high up, so it was a thrill of sorts for me. Super pretty though!

This set of photos just includes some snapshots I took while walking around downtown to get lunch at Hyman's after the boat tour we took. The food was amazing and the day was absolutely beautiful. It couldn't have been any better.

We took a boat tour around the Charleston Harbor on Father's Day. It was such a gorgeous day and the tour was actually really interesting. We were able to see a little bit of every part of Charleston's waterfront, including Fort Sumter which is pictured right around the center of these photos.

As mentioned like a month ago, the next couple of posts will be split up to share pictures from my family vacation to Charleston, South Carolina. And as per usual with heavy-photo posts, I'm going to keep the text to a minimum. Charleston is extraordinary architecture, rich American history, amazing food (specifically seafood. so much shrimp was consumed over the course of this trip), horse drawn carriages on cobblestone streets, palm trees, and sail boats. I love Charleston.
